Designed by the renowned Arch. Barilani, the 1990 Riva 43 Tropicana remains an iconic example of Italian nautical heritage. Measuring 13.18 meters in length with a 3.88-meter beam, this open boat offers a blend of an aggressive profile and classic elegance. This specific unit is offered in preserved condition, having undergone a complete engine overhaul in 2021 where the Cummins VT903M units were removed and reset to zero hours.
Performance is powered by twin 425 HP Cummins engines driving through a line d'assi transmission system, capable of a cruise speed of 28 knots and a maximum speed of 35 knots. With 1,200 liters of fuel capacity, this vessel is built for reliable coastal performance. The hull, constructed from fiberglass (vetroresina), displaces 12,772 kg, ensuring a stable ride at sea.
The layout focuses on both outdoor entertaining and comfortable overnight stays. The exterior deck features a pilot station, a passenger seat, and an equipped bar cabinet with a sink and refrigerator. Guests can lounge on the U-shaped sofa surrounding an electrically lowering table that converts into a large sunbathing area, complemented by an additional bow sunpad. The cockpit is protected by a canvas top and a sun awning, with all exterior cushions replaced in 2020.
Down below, the interior layout provides one cabin with a double berth and one separate bathroom featuring a shower. The living space includes a convertible dinette that creates additional sleeping capacity and a galley kitchen equipped with induction hobs and a refrigerator. Functional additions include a hydraulic passarelle, a teak-laid swim platform, and a bow thruster for easier maneuvering in port.
