Built with the iconic Cougar hull design, this Tecnomar Off Shore 40 offers exceptional stability and agility for high-speed coastal navigation. Since its comprehensive refit in 2020/2021, the vessel has been stored exclusively indoors, ensuring the fiberglass hull and external finishes remain in excellent condition. At the heart of this fast commuter are twin Yanmar 440 hp diesel engines installed in 2004, which have logged only 350 hours of operation. These engines power surface-piercing propellers, allowing the vessel to reach a maximum speed of 48 knots, with an efficient cruising speed between 35 and 40 knots. The surface drive transmissions were recently serviced, and the boat comes equipped with two sets of propellers (four and five blades) new as of 2022. The layout balances performance with interior comfort. The cabin includes a forward berth, a functional dinette, a private head, and a galley, making it suitable for overnight stays. The exterior features a generous aft sunpad, perfect for leisure, and the cockpit is outfitted with electronic hydraulic flap indicators and upgraded instrumentation. The recent 2020/21 refit extended to a complete exterior and interior repaint, new thru-hulls, a new anchor windlass, and a full replacement of upholstery and awnings.
