Sailing history comes to life in this 1921 Cantieri Svedesi Sk30, known as Snovit (Sally IV). Designed by Jac. M Iversen and approved by the Swedish Sailing organization in late 1921, this vessel was built for competition, participating in the SKq30 class racing circuit by July 1922. Measuring 11.90 meters in length and 1.63 meters in beam, she stands as one of the narrowest examples within her class, offering a distinct sailing profile.
The hull is constructed of pine and supported by a lead keel. Following a comprehensive major refitting in 2005, the entire vessel and mast have been recently repainted and the hull integrity verified. This used boat is currently in excellent condition and requires no further renovation work, making her ready for immediate enjoyment by enthusiasts of historic sailing.
Included with the yacht are a wooden mast and boom, a full sail inventory comprising one mainsail, one foresail, and one genoa, along with a secondary used electric engine (Biltema Model 25243) and an auxiliary 5 HP Mercury engine. All necessary sailing equipment and accessories required to put her back on the water are included in the package.
This classic yacht is currently located in the Veneto region. For further technical details or to arrange a viewing, please contact Andrea Michelazzo at amichelazzo@pedettiyacht.com or via phone at +39 3472234548. The agency is located at Porto di Lavagna, Box 102, Lavagna (GE), Italy.
