Designed by the renowned Cornu, this 1963 Durand Marans Sloop represents a piece of maritime history built in the historic Durand shipyard in Marans, Vendée. Measuring 10.7 meters in length with a 2.8-meter beam, this classic wooden sailboat features construction in traditional planking and has been preserved through continuous maintenance in a prestigious Italian shipyard.
Technical performance is supported by a 30 hp Lombardini diesel engine, which has recorded only 70 hours of use and is maintained with periodic service via a shaft line transmission. The vessel has undergone a rigorous maintenance schedule: the hull was caulked, the bottom was recoated with two layers of antifouling, and the topsides, antifouling, and varnish were refreshed in August 2022. During the 2023/2024 season, the hull underwent further caulking, and in 2025, the planking was fully serviced. The vessel was launched in February 2026 with a fully restored hull, fresh varnish, and new batteries and charger.
This classic vessel offers a four-cabin layout with one bathroom, making it suitable for those who appreciate the aesthetic and sailing character of vintage wood-hulled yachts. The teak deck remains in excellent condition, reflecting the high standard of care applied to the boat.
