Defined by its classic lines and robust steel construction, the 1974 Camper & Nicholson 40 CHARTER stands as a testament to maritime craftsmanship. This vessel features a substantial 39.43-meter length and a beam of 6.92 meters, providing significant interior volume across four well-appointed cabins and four baths. Maintained in excellent condition, this motor yacht has undergone multiple significant refits to ensure modern reliability while preserving its heritage. The 2019 refit marked a major upgrade, including the installation of new Baudouin 2 x 1,300 Hp (12M33.2) engines and a total overhaul of the engine room. This involved sandblasting and the installation of new piping and sea chests. Additionally, the vessel received new black and grey water tanks, and maintenance on the Alfa Laval and Hamman systems. Previous refits included a complete Awl Grip paint job and new teak decks in 2008/2012, while 2016 saw the addition of two 150 kW Caterpillar generators. Performance is managed with a cruise speed of 13 knots, with a fuel consumption of 150 l/h total. The technical suite is equally impressive, featuring a Tecnomarine 500 L/h watermaker, hydraulic 60 kW bow thruster, and a full suite of navigation instrumentation including Furuno radar, GPS/Plotter, and Robertson autopilot systems. The internal layout is designed for comfort, featuring a master cabin on the main deck, a VIP cabin, and two guest cabins, complemented by dedicated crew quarters. Equipped for long-range autonomy, the yacht includes dual Miele washers and dryers, central air conditioning, and high-end tenders, including a 5.30-meter Novamarine with an inboard Volvo Penta 130 Hp engine and a 4.60-meter Novamarine with a 60 Hp Yamaha outboard.
