The catamaran was built in France in 1992, as part of the legendary line of Edelcat catamarans known for their robust construction, balanced sailing performance, and uncomplicated systems that sailors love and was purchased 3 years ago by its current owner. It was very well equipped, but with a pretty old design, so the owner decided to strip it out and make it more modern and more spacious. It was in the E.U. prior to the cut of date in 1992 (so VAT is deemed exempt.) He sailed it from Cadiz where he purchased it and sailed it back to Gandia in mainland Spain and he just sailed it around locally.
