Defined by Carlo Riva as his most elegant model, the Ariston remains the only design produced throughout his entire tenure at the shipyard. This specific 1958 Riva Ariston is a rare survivor, belonging to an exclusive group of only 19 units fitted with the performance-oriented Cadillac 8V engine. With 275 HP on tap, this vessel delivers a cruising speed of 30 knots and a maximum speed of 36 knots, offering a driving experience synonymous with the brand's legendary performance heritage. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the hull features plywood construction for the bottom and sides. The deck is finished using Gran Bassan for the external layer and Sapeli mahogany for the interior, maintaining the authentic aesthetic of the late 1950s. The interior configuration includes two rows of seats, a pilot seat that raises for stand-up navigation, and a forward seat back that folds down to create a spacious sunbathing area. This classic wood boat is currently in excellent condition following a comprehensive restoration. Since the completion of the refit, the current owner has operated the vessel for only two hours, ensuring the mechanics and finish remain in pristine order.
