About

Defined by its successful racing history, including a win at the Semaine de la Rochelle, this Jeanneau Sun Fast 39 represents a balanced approach to performance and volume. Designed by Jacques Fauroux with interior harmonization by Andrew Winch, this 11.99-meter sailboat retains the aesthetic appeal and structural integrity expected of the brand's performance line. Technical upgrades ensure the vessel remains reliable for its next owner. The current configuration features 2019 standing rigging (shrouds and stays) and updated masthead sensors from the same year. Navigation and handling are supported by a new steering group installed in 2022, complemented by new side portlights added in 2019. This sloop-rigged yacht carries an 89.5 sqm sail area, featuring a carbon fiber reinforced genoa and a dacron furling mainsail. For off-wind performance, a 100 sqm blister is included, supported by the original design's capability for a 115 sqm spinnaker. The hull is constructed from fiberglass, maintaining the clean lines and hydrodynamic efficiency that earned the model its reputation. With three cabins and two baths, the layout comfortably accommodates up to 8 people. This configuration balances competitive racing capabilities with the living space required for longer coastal sailing. Located in Italy, this boat is available for inspection.
