Invictus GT320: model and used-boat guide
Official specifications, variants, strengths, limitations, used-boat checks and observed asking prices explain the Invictus GT320 without mixing shipyard data with listings.

In brief
The Invictus GT320 is a 9.95-metre day cruiser suited to premium day trips and short weekends for buyers who prioritise deck space, styling and below-deck shelter. Its main caveat is twin-V8 sterndrive complexity: weight, draft, layout, service history and tax treatment require boat-specific verification because the listings are not fully consistent.

The Invictus GT320 is a 9.95-metre day cruiser built around a broad social deck and genuine shelter below. Its most useful buying proposition is not an advertised top speed, which this review has not tested, but the balance of ten-metre berthing dimensions, sterndrive propulsion and extensive configuration choices. This guide keeps the shipyard’s model data separate from observations taken from four Batoo advertisements on 23 August 2026.
Design, specifications and distinct variants
Invictus gives the current GT320 an overall length of 9.95 m, a maximum beam of 3.03 m, a 5,600 kg lightship displacement and a 1,360 kg load capacity. The official page lists twelve people, maximum permitted power of 860 hp and Christian Grande as designer. Two maximum-height figures, 2.78 and 3.50 m, are published, so an owner planning road transport or covered storage should obtain the drawing for the exact equipment configuration.
| Item | Official GT320 figure | Batoo sample observation |
|---|---|---|
| Length overall | 9.95 m | 9.95 m across all four offers |
| Maximum beam | 3.03 m | 3.03 m across all four offers |
| Displacement | 5,600 kg lightship | 5,800 kg stated in some listings |
| Person capacity | 12 | 12 shown on the inspected pages |
| Permitted power | 860 hp | four boats at 2 × 350 hp, 700 hp total |
The 200 kg difference must not be averaged away. Lightship displacement and an unqualified listing weight may represent different load conditions, or one record may be stale. Draft is also inconsistent inside the dossier, at 0.60 m for one boat and 0.90 m for another. The correct response is to inspect the individual declaration of conformity and owner’s manual, not to manufacture a midpoint.
The GT320S is a separate outboard variant unveiled in 2022. By contrast, every dossier boat has twin 350 hp Volvo Penta petrol V8s driving through sterndrives. Outboards alter the transom, mechanical access and maintenance proposition, so an S suffix cannot be treated as an equipment package. Atelier colours and finishes are customisation choices too; they do not establish different certified performance.
Reasoned strengths and limitations
The core strength is proportion. A 3.03 m beam within a 9.95 m hull creates enough width for a social cockpit and foredeck without imposing the berth of a substantially larger cruiser. The official twelve-person capacity supports group day use, although a certification ceiling is not a promise that twelve adults will cruise comfortably. People, fuel, water, luggage and equipment must remain inside the stated load allowance.
Below-deck shelter is the second advantage. Every dossier record shows one head, while cabin counts vary between one and two. That discrepancy may result from sellers counting a convertible dinette and a separate berth differently. Buyers should compare physical berths, privacy, ventilation and access against the official plan and the specific inventory instead of relying on the cabin label.
Complexity is the main counterweight. Twin petrol V8s offer partial redundancy and useful low-speed control, but they multiply service items. Sterndrives bring bellows, joints, seals and immersed gear that need documented care, especially in salt water. Fifty or eighty-five recorded hours cannot establish condition on their own; long inactivity can be as relevant as heavy use.
The sculpted bow and finish options give the boat a clear identity, yet appearance cannot substitute for a sea trial. This article has no independent fuel-burn, range, acceleration or rough-water data, so it assigns none. Performance numbers on marketplace pages remain seller-supplied listing values, not editorial test results.
Ideal use and best-suited owner
The GT320 makes the strongest case as a premium Mediterranean day cruiser for bay hopping, entertaining and short weekends. It suits an owner who values sunbathing space, cockpit living and distinctive styling, but still wants a head and usable sleeping shelter. A capable family crew may find its dimensions manageable, subject to training, local rules and the actual berth.
It is a weaker fit for long-range cruising, maximum interior volume or minimal mechanical overhead. Extended stays depend on tankage, ventilation, electrical autonomy, residual payload and service access, none of which is uniformly established for every dossier boat. The twelve-person rating should therefore be separated from overnight comfort.
All four observed boats share the twin 350 hp V8 installation, which makes the sample internally consistent. It does not prove that every production-year GT320 used the same propulsion. The official 860 hp ceiling and reference to single or twin configurations reinforce the need to match hull number, engine plates, model year and conformity documents.
Used-boat checks before making an offer
Start by fixing the boat’s technical and tax identity. Match the HIN or CIN, build year, conformity declaration, owner’s manual, engine serial numbers, invoices and VAT evidence. The sample mixes tax-inclusive and tax-exclusive asking prices; ranking them without normalising tax treatment would be misleading. Any leasing balance or remaining warranty needs direct documentary confirmation from the relevant institution.
The propulsion survey should include electronic diagnostics for both engines, recorded hours and alarms, service history, cooling circuits and fuel system. Compression or oil analysis may be appropriate when the appointed technician recommends it. Each sterndrive needs checks for corrosion, propeller damage, play, seals, bellows and gear oil. A sea trial should record achieved rpm, temperatures, pressure, vibration, steering response and low-speed behaviour.
Inspect hull and deck with a consistent moisture-testing method, not an isolated meter reading. Review the underwater body, through-hulls, laminate around fittings, hull-to-deck joint, drainage and T-top supports. Operate the windlass, convertible furniture and every pump. Below deck, look for leaks and odour while testing the head, water heater, refrigeration and air conditioning, and identify factory equipment versus later additions.
Finally, establish real operating weight. The official 5,600 kg lightship figure and 5,800 kg marketplace figure illustrate why crane, trailer and performance calculations cannot rely on an ambiguous specification. An independent marine surveyor and a propulsion specialist answer different questions; commissioning both is not duplication.
Alternatives and programme comparison
| Alternative | Reason to consider it | Trade-off against GT320 |
|---|---|---|
| Invictus GT280 | Related design language in a smaller footprint | Less volume and storage |
| Invictus GT320S | Outboard propulsion and different service access | Altered transom and maintenance case |
| Invictus GT370 | More volume for longer stays | Higher berth, running and ownership demands |
| 9–10 m single-engine day cruiser | Potentially simpler machinery | Less redundancy and different handling |
The GT280 tests whether the buyer genuinely needs the GT320’s additional space. The GT370 asks the opposite question: whether the planned cruising programme actually needs a larger platform. The GT320S deserves a separate propulsion and layout assessment, while a single-engine rival can reduce parts count at the cost of a different redundancy profile.
There is no universal ranking. A useful shortlist weights regular crew size, consecutive nights aboard, berth constraints, annual maintenance budget and local resale depth before comparing upholstery or electronics. Options add value only when they serve that programme and have a verifiable installation and service history.
Observed price range and market methodology
The dossier contained four active Batoo offers observed on 23 August 2026: two 2023 boats and two 2024 boats, all with twin 350 hp V8s. Asking prices were €285,000, €287,000, €334,000 and €355,860, producing an observed range of €285,000–€355,860. This is not a valuation. It is a small asking-price sample from one broker, with no evidence of achieved transaction prices, time on market or independently established condition.
The €70,860 spread cannot be assigned to age alone. Tax status, country, installed options, declared hours, warranty evidence, cosmetic condition and financing structure may affect comparability. A defensible method keeps each listing separate, timestamps the observation, preserves the currency, normalises tax and commission treatment where documented, and rechecks availability before negotiation.
Batoo records subscription activity, identity verification, offer freshness and editorial eligibility as four separate signals. In this dossier the Broker Pro subscription is active; identity is reported separately and is not required for that label; freshness and editorial eligibility are true. Broker Pro means an active subscription only. It is not identity or KYB verification and never guarantees editorial coverage, ranking or a favourable assessment. Live inventory belongs in a separate dynamic module, not this stable guide.
